Here for sale is a fantastic antique toilet. Made from cast iron and with a lovely porcelain pan. Cast into the metal is the makers name 'Lambert Freres Paris'. They were established in 1908 and this example has a wonderful art nouveau design cast to the metal base, typical of the period. The pan has a stunning crazing to the porcelain which gives it a lovely timeworn look. The wooden toilet cover is hinged at the back, where a pull handle open and closes a shutter to the bowl of the pan and is a bit stiff. A really unusual design and a rare early example. Perfect as a decorative piece to use in a modern interior as a planter or as a talking point.

This is a salvaged and reclaimed piece and is untested or use as a toilet. Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.

Please look at photos closely as they form part of the item description.
