A fantastic antique set of six books. Titled ' Thompson's Gardener's Assistant' to the cover. Written by Robert Thompson and with contributions from William Watson who was a curator at Kew Gardens. The embossed covers have a wonderful Art Nouveau design. With many colour plates of flowers and botanicals. Dating from the turn of the century around 1902. A fabulous period set of books, perfect as a gift or to stage in a modern interior to add soul and charm to a office or shelf.
Condition
Bumped corners and spine. Foxing to some pages. Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.
Please look at photos closely as they form part of the item description.
