Here for sale is a fantastic rare superb Apothecary case. Dating from around 1800, this is a stunningly made piece.
The cabinet is beautifully constructed. The two hinged sections swing open to reveal banks of drawers at the bottom of each side and sliders open at the top to reveal areas for storing bottles. The drawers at the bottom are full depth, but the top section is half depth. Removing the sliders releases a catch that allows sliders on the reverse to be removed revealing further storage section and bank of drawers.
The cabinet is fitted with a range of 19th Century measuring flasks and apothecary bottles. Complete with original working key. A wonderful rare piece perfect for any collector or just for display. Adding a burst of personality to any modern interior.
Condition
One of the sliders has some damage to the bottom runner. Several of the the contents are later in date. Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.
Please look at photos closely as they form part of the item description.
