Here for sale is a fantastic antique oak small planked table with faux drawers. Dates from the middle part of the Georgian period. The oak has a wonderful smooth timeworn feel and patina. The brass handles and lock on the faux drawers to front are later. These could be removed if preferred. Wonderful pegged joints.
Looks to have had an interesting history. The planks on the top appear to have hinges on the underside possibly having been recovered from another piece. This may be original or this may be a marriage. The legs at the front lean in slightly as they have moved over the years. The table is still sturdy. Perfect as a breakfast, hall or sofa table to add soul in a modern interior.
Appears to be a marriage from different pieces, front legs bend in slightly. Brassware is later. Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.
Please look at photos closely as they form part of the item description.
