A fantastic antique fretwork mirror. In the Georgian style, but probably dating from the 19th Century. Lovely mahogany veneered fretwork frame with gilt Hoho bird to the top. The 'Hoho Bird' is a mythical Japanese creature and symbolises good fortune, luck and wisdom. Perfect as a hall mirror or above a basin to add soul and character to a modern interior.
Condition
Historical repair to fretwork. Areas of missing veneer. Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.
Please look at photos closely as they form part of the item description.
