A fantastic antique military storage trunk by Gieves, Matthews and Seagrove Ltd. They were Naval outfitters and retailers of Swords, hats, trunks etc in the 19th Century up to the early 20th Century. We believe this lovely trunk to be late 19th Century or early 20th Century. It has the brass front plate for the makers and a nice brass carry handle. The interior has two compartments with lids. This fabulous travel trunk has a lovely patina and is perfect for storage and interior styling in the home.

Shows sign of its journeys and adventures. The catch is missing on one side and stiff on the other. Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.

Please look at photos closely as they form part of the item description.

46 cm width, 24 cm depth, 21 cm height
