A fantastic antique gilt girandole mirror. The girandole referring to the ornate candles arms. The frame is early 19th Century and has its original mirrored plate. With fabulous Putti to the top surround by a laurel leaves and ornate floral decoration. There are many loses to the gesso but it really does add to its charm. A stunning period mirror with lots of character and perfect to add a burst of personality to the most modern of homes.
Condition
Losses to the gilt gesso and decoration. It is very much as found! Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.
