A fantastic antique stacking bookcase. Stamped to the top of the section with the maker, Globe Wernicke. Globe Wernicke was a renowned American maker of high end office furniture which was founded in 1893. This piece dates from the early part of the 20th Century. This example dates from the first part of the 20th Century. Made from English oak.
This stacking sectional bookcase has glass up and over doors. Each section can be taken apart for transport. There is a bottom plinth with drawer and top pelmet with stunning carved destail. It's a great size consisting of three tiers. A super useful piece, perfect to incorporate into a modern interior to add soul and character to a space.
Condition
Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.
