A fantastic antique dome or cloche. Hand blown glass mounted on a footed ebonised base. This type of dome was probably originally used to store a clock. The hand turned wooden base has a ridge carved to the top, so that the glass dome can fit snuggly on it. A Victorian piece which could be used for taxidermy. It is a wonderful piece to style with the changing seasons, prized treasure or heirlooms. Perfect to add soul and character to any modern space.
Condition
Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.
