A fantastic antique travel suitcase. With original brass lock and fitting, unfortunately no key. It is in the style of a doctors or gladstone bag. This is a much travelled piece, where several areas on stitching have come loose. With an original travel label for London and South Railway. Dating from the turn of the century. Inside the canvas interior is in good order and has its original leather straps. With one interior divider. A fabulous period piece, which we think would make a quirky magazine holder. Perfect to incoporate into a modern interior to add soul and chaeacter to a space.
Condition
Much of the stitching is loose and undone, please do refer to photos. Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.
