A fantastic antique letterpress tray. With original handle stamped with the makers name, Hamilton. James Edward Hamilton founded the Hamilton Manufacturing Company in Two Rivers, Wisconsin. The company became on eof the largest manufacturers of wood type in the USA.

Dating from the end of the 19th Century. This original letterpress drawer has been salvaged from a large cabinet. We have two avaialble and price is for one. To the front of the drawer is a slot for a paper label. The front is painted in green. These trays are just fabulous mounted on a wall to display lego figures, haberdashery or collectibles. This is a larger example and is perfect to add soul and character to any modern space.

Condition

We have given it a clean but there will be signs of ink as it is a salvaged piece. Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.

Please look at photos closely as they form part of the item description.

Dimensions

82 cm width,  42.5 cm depth,  4 cm height
