A fantastic antique pair of sauce boats. Made from silver plate and stamped by the retailer, Jays of Oxford Street London. James Jay was an active retailer since 1867. He was based at 142 and 144 Oxford Street from 1887. These pieces are stamped 'HB & H'. These pieces were made by Harrison Brothers and Howden of Sheffield. Dating from the turn of the century, this pair of lovely sauce boats would have been used in a grand country house. Perfect for any occasion or any sauce.

Condition

Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.
