A fantastic antique cash ledger book. Made by the John Dickinson Sationary company and is the 'Lion Brand'. John Dickinson started in 1804. He brought his first paper mill in Hertfordshire in 1811. He experimented and patented many mechanical systems for paper making and folding envelopes. With marbled inside covers. This beautiful bound cash book has a lovely red leather to the spine. Many of the first pages are missing and starts at page 16. A lovely period piece, perfect to use and enjoy.
Condition
Bumped corners and spine. Foxing to some pages. Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.
