A fantastic antique foundry mould. Made from cast iron. The design is the ornate ends of a bench and has a wonderful architectural quality. This mould would have been used hundreds of times to to produce the bench ends. We believe this example dates from the early part of the 20th Century and came from a foundry for making fireplaces and architectural pieces in Hertfordshire. A fabulous timeworn patina which really adds to its charm. A wonderful salvaged item perfect to display in a garden or outside space to add a burst of personality and character.
