A unique carpenters plane, uncycled into a stunning task light. The plane is a I. Sorby example, who was based at Cast Street, Sheffield, England. The original oweners name is stamped to the front of the plane 'J.Adkin'. The wood has a wonderful warm hue and tone. A really large original plane with a bespoke hand made brass upstand. With a fabulous green enamel shade and large antique style light bulb. It has a brown braided flex. A really unique piece, perfect as a gift or to incorporate into a modern interior to add a statement and soul to any space.
 
Condition
Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.
