A fantastic antique desk. Made from oak Veneer and and with the makers label for Leyden & Van Beest of Brussels and Anwerp. They were a renowned maker and dates from the first part of the 20th Century. With breautiful carved handles to each drawer which are very organic in shape and form. There are seven drawers, where the last two to the right are a double and perfect for filing. The two pedistals and top come apart for easy movement. The oak veneer has a wonderful prominent grain. This is a well loved desk, where the top has marks and scratches. The middle drawer is faux above the knee hole. The drawers have wooden insert dividers and dovetail joints. A fabulous estate desk, used in a large country house or business. Perfect for any home office to enjoy and use. 
Condition
Staining and wear to top. Two historical holes have been filled to the top. Pull out shelf to right is missing. Shows lots of signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.
