A fantastic antique mirror. Made from mahogany with a brass ring around the bevelled mirror. With heavy brass arm which allows the mirror to be pulled forward or stored close to the wall. The mirror can be tilted up and down to the desired position. It is mounted on a blacksmith made cast iron bracket. With holes to mount onto a wall. Dating from the late Victorian period and is a quality made mirror. This used in large country houses as shaving mirrors and was probably originally a floor mounted piece.
Condition
Looks to be a marriage where the bracket has been made to fit the mirror. Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.
