A fantastic antique Victorian washstand. With a stunning white marble top mounted on a serpentine shaped mahogany base. The marble is bevelled edged and has a delicate grey vien running through it. There is a small single drawer to the front with hand turned knobs. To the left is a super original brass towel rail. The wooden back stand is a later replacement. The legs have a wonderful carved design which is exquiste. A fabulous period vanity console, perfect to incorporate into a modern bathroom to add soul and character to a space.
Condition
Wooden upstand is a later addition. Hole drilled into top of marble. Area of trim missing to one leg, please refer to photo. Marble top and base come apart for easy transport. Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.
