A fantastic antique mahogany campaign chest. With three long and two short drawers and campaign handles to the three long drawers. In two parts for ease of transport, these chests are known as campaign chests as they were designed for use in military campaigns with each part packed and transported out into the field. Beautifully constructed from mahogany. The drawers all run smoothly. A fabulous period piece, perfect to incoporporate into a modern interior to add soul and character to a space.
Condition
The veneered base is missing some veneer on the sides. There is a lock missing to the top left drawer. There are marks and Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.
