A lovely antique table. Made from mahogany with lift up mechanism to centre for reading a book or indeed a laptop. The reading slope can be set at various heights and the bottom part flips forward to rest the book, with brass catches to secure it. This was designed as a convalescence or bed table for those returning from the First World War. Now it is a super flexible table and useful table. Which can used for any home working and incorporated into a modern home to add soul and charater to a space. 
Condition
Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.
