A fantastic antique mahogany school or station clock with face inscribed Jos Willman Bangor. This has a replacement quality German quartz mechanism and new hands. Joseph Willman and his brother Sebastian established a highly regarded Jewellery shop in Bangor in 1856. Jos passed away in 1891, but the business continued within the family. A stunning clock with a beautiful large surround making it perfect for a large living space. Adding soul and character to a space.
Condition
Replacement quartz mechanism. Missing door to the side. Historical woodworm in the backing box. Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.
