A fantastic antique triptych dressing mirror. Fully marked by the maker Miroir Brot. Created in 1826 by François Brot, mirror maker to King Charles X. They invented the triptych in 1875. Each piece is made in France with unrivaled super quality, Miroir Brot establised itself as a world leader in decorative mirrors.
Each part of the folding mirror has a brass frame and original mirror with fabulous foxed plate, its super heavy!. This stunning mirror is wall hanging and has a lovely oak frame and shelf to front. A truely stunning example made by a renowned maker. A perfect addition to any home or business to add soul and charater to a modern space.
Condition
Backing fabric distressed and damaged. May have originally been floor standing but now wall mounted with brass plates to back. Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.
