A fantastic pair of antique bentwood chairs. Marked with original labels by Fischel. Fischel were contemporaries of Thonet and the other bentwood furniture makers of Eastern Europe in the late 19th and early 20th Century. Fischel started to make bentwood furniture in Niemes in 1871, and was part of the former Czechoslavakia. These two chairs date from the early part of the 20th century. They are excellent quality and have stood the test of time. Perfect to add soul and character to any modern interior.
Condition
Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.
