A fantastic antique chair. Made from oak and with original makers plaque to the underneath of the seat. Made by Perkins, Neale and Stockwell of Leicester, who were based at Asylum Street, Leicester. The back rest has a gothic style carving which was popular for use in chapels or churches. With carved saddle seat. A sturdy solid church, perfect for every day use. Dating from the late Victorian period. Ideal to add soul and character to any modern interior.

Condition

The top of the back rest seems to missing some wood. Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.
