Here for sale is a fantastic antique pewter tankard. Stamped 'VR'and '396'. It has a double scrolled handle and a flared foot. The tankard is also stamped 'Pint'

Underneath is engraved 'The Boot, Hemel Hempstead'. The Boot was establish in 1851 and situated at number 9 High street, Hemel Hempstead,Hertfordshire. The public house was in operation until 1937. We believe the tankard to date from the second half of the 19th century.

Condition

Some dents to surface of pewter. No Lid. Shows lots of signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.

We are a family company and love sourcing unusual pieces which bring a burst of individual style to the most modern of interiors, creating interiors with soul!
