A fantastic antique British railway sign. Made from enamelled steel and is double sided. It would have been used on a station platform or waiting room to indicate the gentlemens toilet or washroom. Dating from late Victorian period. It has its original bronze hanging bracket and is screwed together all the way around. To the edge is stamped, 'Mead Mcclean & Co. Ltd' and 'Eroline Roadsign'. The stunning blue enamel is vibrant and it has a great timeworn patina. These signs are getting hard to find in there original condition and are oftern taken apart and sold separtely. A fabulous period piece, perfect to incorporate into a modern interior to add soul and character to a space. 
Condition
Some areas of missing enamel and is very much as found condition. Chain not included. Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.
