A fantastic antique book, the History of French Painting by C H Stranahan. Published in 1889 with sixteen representative reproductions of each of the key artists. The book was reprinted recently due to its historical importance, but it is rare to find an early edition of this work. Wonderful black and white illustrations. Perfect for any collector to enjoy.
Condition
There is a split to the spine. Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.
