Here for sale is a fantastic Victorian school desk by George M Hammer and Co. Operating in the 19th and early 20th centuries, Hammer were an old English furnisher, in their words; 'Manufacturers of every description of school, institute, library, mission and church furniture'. Highly acclaimed at several international shows winning a prize medal in London, 1867, silver medals in Paris 1878 and Sydney 1879 and a gold in Melbourne 1880.

Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.

Please look at photos closely as they form part of the item description.

72 cm width (minimum), 56 cm depth , 67 cm height
