A fantastic antique photo album. The album was gift from the employees and workers from the A Mannesmann Metal Company to a Mr Max Franke as a 25th anniversary present. The A Mannesmann Company produced knives and swords and were based in Remscheid, Germany. The album is dated April 1914 to the front cover but underneath each mounted photo is handwritten individual dates which are from 1867. The large album is mounted in a leather bound cover which has cracking and spine missing which adds to its character. There are over 50 black and white photos and several are  missing. A great piece full of history which is perfect for a collector to to display and enjoy.
Condition
The back board of the album has become detached and the leather spine is missing. Cracking and wear to leather as it has been well used. Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.
