A fantastic antique display case. With makers plaque for, Frederick Maund, 141 Old Street, London, EC. Maund was a glass case and cabinet maker for museums and shops. This example is in fantastic condition with brass shelf brackets and brass tap handle to front. Dating from the late Victorian period. Glass shelves are adjustable height. A large size which would have been mounted on a counter or table. A rare period piece, perfect for display of heirlooms, treasures or collections. Alternatively it would look stunning in a bathroom or kitchen for storage. Adding soul and character to any modern space.
Condition
Shelves are heavy and look to be later. Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.
