Here for sale is a fantastic antique shop sign. This shop sign was salvaged from the front of the original Cooperative Society grocery store in Hazel Grove. Hazel Grove is an area of Stockport, which is part of Greater Manchester. The shop was opened at the end of the 19th century and we believe the sign to date from this period. The sign is all hand carved with a unique typography and then gold leaf added to each letter. This is a rare find and shows wear around the edges. The back is battened for strength. A absolutely wonderful salvaged piece, perfect to incorporate into any modern home or business to add character and soul to a space.  
Condition
Historical signs of woodworm which has been treated. Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.
