Here for sale is a pair of fantastic antique doors. Reclaimed from a manor house and having the most amazing stained glass design. The original locking bars lock at the top and bottom when the handle is twisted. These are cast iron with a wonderful brass handle. The original stained glass has been further strengthened with a glass pane behind. A fabulous pair of doors salvaged from a manor house in the Peak District, perfect for display or to reuse in a modern interior to add soul and character to a space.
Condition
The wood has some losses to the top and bottom. The paint is flaking generally and has a timeworn patina. Damage to two of the stained glass panels (we do have replacement panels for repair which are available with the sale). The original putty is largely missing and beading has been added for strength in places. Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.
Please look at photos closely as they form part of the item description.
