A superb antique reading lectern. Made from rosewood with brass embossed plaque to back for 'Riddett's Patent Reading Table'. This is a stunning quality piece. With beautiful turned wooden base and and heavy brass fittings. It has its original book rest catches to hold a book or music sheet open. The height is fully adjustable and lectern surface adjustable to angle. The rosewood has a wonderful hue and tone and dates from the Victorian period. A fabulous rare piece, perfect to incorporate into a modern interior to use and enjoy. 
Condition
ares of missing wood to one foot. Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.
