A fantastic antique framed anatomical print. This original human biology plate have been salvaged from 'Johnston's Students' Atlas of Bones and Ligaments'. Dating from 1885 the book was very distressed. We have mounted the skull plate and its additional text into an original museum specimen frame. These frames would have been part of a large bank of drawers with metal number to top and double sided glass. These original Victorian lithographic plates were developed to help students with medical studies. Artist were used to accurately record each area of the body. We have a collection of these plates. A unique one off piece, perfect to incorporate into a modern interior to add soul and character.

Foxing and wear to paper print. Hanging fixings to back wall mounting. Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.

Please look at photos closely as they form part of the item description.
