Here for sale is a fabulous original antique tile made by by Sherwin & Cotton. Sherwin & cotton were bases in Staffordshire, England between 1877-1911. The company was renowned for producing high quality tiles especially for fireplaces. One of the most prolific designers especially with its famed art director George Cartlidge with a vast range of designs in numerous techniques some of which were exclusive to themselves. 

This stunning blue sunflower tile has been reclaimed from an antique fireplace and has a wonderful vibrant colour and patina, which is typical of the Aesthetic movement. 


These are original reclaimed tiles and have nibbles to some corners and signs of mortar to the back as they have been used. Some areas of crazing to the surface of tile please refer to photo. These tiles are reclaimed from a fireplace and there has signs of black to back and discolouration.

Some marks and scratches as they are old and has been used, but only adds to their character. Several nibbles to corners of tiles. Great decorative items which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.
