A fantastic antique original oil on canvas painting. Unsigned and looks to be a scene of south Dartmoor, Devon. With a wonderful moody atmosphere and muted colours. It is framed in a simple gilt frame. To the back is an original framers label who were based in Plymouth. A stunning period painting which would be perfect to mount behind a sofa  or incorporate into a modern interior to add soul and character to a space.
Condition
Area of missing paint and crazing to surface. Some areas of missing gilt to frame. Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.
