Here for sale is a fantastic antique early 20th century alarm clock. We have added a quartz battery mechanism and new hands so that it is fully working. The original brass mechanism is still inside. This is an early weight driven clock and would have been used by a postman as an alarm clock. The makers label and instructions are to the back. Made by T Lovejoy, Gap road, Wimbledon. We have left the original brass chains which hang down but these can be removed.
This is a stunning enamelled clock face with brass numbers to the centre. Simple scratch built case to back.
Lovely clean face with carved wooden frame around. Simple case to back and original workings. Shows lots signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.
We are a family company and love sourcing unusual pieces which bring a burst of individual style to the most modern of interiors, creating interiors with soul!
