An antique bentwood chair. With ebonised finish and cane seat. Dating from the early part of the 20th century. Very much in the style and of the period of Michael Thonet who patented the bentwood technique. No makers label on this example. Not for every day use, this chair is quite fragile. But full of charm.
Condition
Fragile and not for everyday use. Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.
