A fantastic antique washstand. Made from mahogany veneer and dates from the end of the 19th century. With lift up lid to reveal original mirror and interior marble. Made in France, the off white marble has a exquisite grey vein. These types of vanity stands were used by large Trans Atlantic steamer ships in high end cabins. It has its working key. The original interior mirror has a light foxing. Once converted with a modern sink, this would make a fabulous bathroom vanity. Perfect to incorporate into a modern interior to add soul and character to a space.

Condition

Areas of missing veneer. Historical woodworm. Some staining to marble. Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.

Please look at photos closely as they form part of the item description.
