A fantastic antique mirror. Made from cast iron and painted in a cream paint. It has a wonderful acanthus leaf design to the centre. With galleried top and classic finial to each end. The three mirrored section are original with lovely foxing and bevelled edge. To the back is the registration number 62098 and 61904. No 18 and 'Victoria' is also stamped to the back. This is a salvaged piece and would have been part of a larger fireplace surround. There are case holes to each side for mounting on a wall. It would make a fabulous home or garden mirror and has a regal classic design. Perfect for adding a burst of character to any modern space.
Condition
The paint is chipped in places and very much as found. Its very heavy! Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.
