Here for sale is a fantastic set of three antique apothecary or chemistry bottles. All three have original gilt edged glass labels. The label under glass labels show that the bottles are late 19th Century.

One bottle has the makers mark for the 'York Glass Co'. The York Flint glass company was set up in 1835 by Joseph Spence. They specialised in medical and pharmacy measuring vessels. The York Glass Company who operated in the latter 19th century/ early 20th century and would have made these bottles on a large scale as demand grew through the industrial revolution.  

The three bottle have the original labels for:

Mist. Siennae Co.

OL. Amycd Dulc.

Tinct: Chiratae (damage to label)


Damage to the label for Tinct. Chiratae. Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.
