A lovely pair of antique apothecary bottles. All have original gilt edged glass labels and narrow necks. The label under glass labels show that the bottles are late 19th Century. The 'Label Under Glass' was a technique used so that an elaborate and decorative label would be protected by covering in a thin layer of glass. The two bottle are for; 'SYR:RHAMNI.' and 'SYR:RHEI.'

One of the bottles has its original lollypop stopper, which does have a chip. The bottles are made from a deep blue Bristol glass. Great as a gift or for any collector. Perfect for staging in a bathroom or kitchen to add personality and soul to an interior.

Condition

Only one stopper. Stopper has a chip. Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.
