A fantastic antique bottle. Dating from the late Victorian period and is a english piece. The cobalt blue colour was often used for poison as it alerted the chemist to its contents. To the shoulder is embossed the word 'poison' too. The colour of the bottle is really vibrant and the 'picket fence' ribbed sides really adds to its charm. A fabulous period piece, perfect to incorporate into a modern interior such as a window ledge to add a burst of soul to a space.
Condition
Historical repair to rim, please refer to photo. Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.
