A fantastic antique wirework bird cage. Dating from the Victorian period and made from white painted metal. It has the most wonderful timeworn patina and small copper plinth where a hanging loop is attached. In a three arched design, which is in the manor of large palm houses such as at Kew gardens. There are two small wooden poles inside for a bird to sit on. The base is missing but we think it would make a stunning plant display. A fabulous period piece, perfect to incorporate into a modern interior to add soul and character to a space.
Condition
Please note the base is missing, but a replacement could be easily made. Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.
Please look at photos closely as they form part of the item description.
