A fantastic antique pair of pottery dishes. Stamped by the maker, Wedgwood. The transfer print is the Raphael design and date between 1835 and 1910. They have a lovely swag decoration with flowers and birds around the rim. To the centre is a geometric design. This pair of dishes were used for soup and now can be used as part of a sustainable table scape or plate wall. A fabulous period piece, perfect to incorporate in to a modern sustainable home to add soul and character or to use and enjoy.
Condition
Crazing to surface. Chip to rim of one and hair line crack to other. Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.
