A fantastic antique Victorian leather hat box. With brass clasp to the front and sturdy handle to the top with brass fittings. Inside with beautiful red quilted lining. No hat, but comes with a pair of Austin Reed boot gaiters which the previous owner had stored in the box. 
Lovely warn patina to the old leather. A beautiful and useful case for storage and display. 
Condition
Buckle on front is missing catch. Looks like leather strap is replacement. Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.
