A fantastic antique ceiling light. This was once a gas light and now has been converted into a ceiling mounted downlight. To the top there is a ceiling rose with stunning repousse acanthus leaf detail. The main pole has its original gas switch with its patent number 22690K stamped to the front. It has been rewired with gold flex and brass bayonet light fitting. A rare and unusual ceiling light, perfect to incorporate into a modern interior to add souland character to a space.

With new flex and light fitting, this light will require installation by a qualified electrician. There are two small holes to the to cap for mounting flush to a ceiling. Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.

Please look at photos closely as they form part of the item description.

17 cm cap diameter, 59 cm height
