A fantastic rare antique box. This stunning hand made box is made by a master craftsmen using many specimen fruit woods and was probably an apprentice piece. Dating from the Victorian period this is a special box. The depth of colour to the different wood is just amazing, with a panel to the top and inside lid. A rare and unusual period piece perfect to keep treasures and keepsakes or use as a sewing or jewellery box. A box to keep for many years.

The key is missing. Historical repair to hinge area at back, do refer to photos. Original baize is missing to base. Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.

Please look at photos closely as they form part of the item description.
