A fantastic antique chair. Dating from the Victorian period and made from english oak. With original Cope and Collinson stamped quality brass castors. Very much as found with a fabulous timeworn patina. It has it's original horse hair upholstery and faux leather fabric. It would have been used as a reading or fireside chair. Now it would make a fabulous occasional chair by a window or reading nook. A great period chair, perfect to incorporate into a modern interior to add soul and charcter to a space.
Condition
Several of the buttons to the back are missing. Wear to fabric where horse hair can be seen. Shows lots of signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.
