A fantastic antique sardine dish. Made from silver plate and has the most wonderful hand engraved design. The diamond etched design runs around the lipped edge and top. To the base is a part number 3340. Dating from the Victorian period with a lovely hinged lid. Unmarked with a makers mark but has a stunning timeworn patina. A fabulous period piece, perfect as a gift or to use in a modern home for display or storage. 
Condition
Tarnishing to silver plate in places and on the base. Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.
